From the May issue: On th上海千花网论坛 上海千花网e website of the marketing and sales advisory firm the Marketing Directors, its president, Jacqueline Urgo, is branded “The Driving Force.” It’s the perfect description for the self-described “Energizer bunny,” who is in charge of marketing for major residential developers. The 53-year-old is fueled by a natural vim — and cups of coffee often numbering in the double digits.

On one recent morning, Urgo met with execs at Simon Baron Development about its luxury condo conversion at 12 East 88th Street, then a phone 爱上海同城对对碰 爱上海同城论坛call with Ironstate Development about projects in New Jersey and Staten Island and finally, an internal meeting to talk about marketing for 99 Hudson, a residential development in Jersey City that will be the state’s tallest building.

Midtown East Rezoning

Here s the latest talk on the Midtown East rezoning Garodnick, Weisbrod talk transit improvements, air rights transfers

Richard Anderson and Carl Weisbrod

Is it strange that the city is he上海同城对对碰交友社区 上海夜网论坛lping the state pay for transit improvements? Sure, but the alternative, according to C爱上海龙凤419桑拿 上海龙凤论坛sh1founcilman Daniel Garodnick, is not getting the work done.

Richard Anderson, president of trade group New York Building Congress, posed the question on Friday, asking why the money wasn t instead going to the city s Department of Transportation. Under the Midtown East rezoning proposal, buildings that are within the so-called transit improvement zone will need to contribute a yet-t上海贵族宝贝论坛 上海贵族宝贝o-be determined amount to improvements identified by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Garodnick said the city is currently working with the MTA to choose these improvements, which are on the agency s list of projects but aren t necessarily a priority. Garodnick said if the city doesn t step in, Midtown East could wait another generation or more to see change.

You don t really need to drag the MTA kicking and screaming into a process where the city is developing a mechanism to fund needed transit improvements, he said during an event hosted by the Building Congress at the New York Hilton in Midtown.  Should the MTA pay for all things related to MTA work? Yes. Can they do that today, when they spend half the year thinking about a $15 billion hole in a $32 billion budget? No.

Dick Cavett lowers price of Montauk property to $48.5M

Iconic talk show host just couldn’t find any takers when he listed onetime Montauk home, Tick Hall, at $62 million last year. Now, he’s hoping to get a little more traction with a $48.5 million price tag, though Cavett’s wife speculated to the Wall Street Journal that buyers may be wary of investing in real estate because of a booming stock market.
